One of the most commonly asked questions in church is, “Why should I become a member?”  Although the word “membership” is never found in the Bible, the principles behind membership are biblical.  Most importantly, Jesus is completely committed to His Church.  In fact, it is by His design that the church operates in the world today as His representatives.  Every believer should follow His example of commitment to a local church.   We are also instructed by the Apostle Paul to maintain relationships and community with fellow believers.

The benefits include receiving encouragement, having accountability, and experience the spiritual nurture that we need.  The church benefits from membership because it lets the church know who can be counted on to do the work of the ministry for God's kingdom.

What is the membership process?
FTC’s membership process consists of one Sunday class following the Morning Worship Service and enjoying lunch with one of our pastoral team.   You will have the opportunity to learn FTC, our church history, the Assemblies of God Fellowship, what we believe, Christian discipleship, and where you can get connected.  It is our goal that you have a better knowledge of Jesus Christ, FTC, yourself, and those in your membership group at the conclusion of the class.  By the end of class, you will receive a membership application.  The FTC Elders review all membership applications, and you will be notified following the next Elders Meeting.

How do I sign up?
