convoy of hope

At Faith, we are passionate about serving and helping those in poverty in our city and world.   One of the organizations that we partner with is Convoy of Hope.
Convoy of Hope is a faith-based, nonprofit organization with a driving passion to feed the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreaches and disaster response.

Founded in 1994 and today more than 70 million people have been served throughout the world by Convoy of Hope. COH works through churches, businesses, government agencies and other nonprofits to provide help and hope to those who are impoverished, hungry and hurting.

Convoy of Hope received the highest rating from Charity Navigator for transparency, accountabilty and financial stewardship

How can you participate?  A $10 contribution a month can feed a child for a month with COH.

More than 1 billion people live on less than a dollar a day. These children and families are all too familiar with poverty. It has robbed them of hope and threatens to steal their future.

By helping a child living in such extreme poverty we can enable them to experience the fullness of life God offers. Join Convoy of Hope and sponsors all over the world as we seek to bring compassion and justice to the world's poorest people.

Convoy of Hope is one of the first organizations to responde to disasters around the world with immediate resources because of the churches and inviduals who partner with them.
Matthew 25:37-40 (The Message)
'Master, what are you talking about?
When did we ever see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and give you a drink?
And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?'
Then the King will say, 'I'm telling the solemn truth:
Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored,
that was me—you did it to me.'
